Sodium
Hello bloggers, today we learned about sodium. I learned that a teenagers needs 1500mg of sodium per day. Eating too much sodium is very bad. You can have heart disease, water weight and a stroke. I was surprised that 2 minutes noodle is very low sodium. To avoid it eat fruits, vegetable and look at the products first.

Early Encounters in Aotearoa
Hello bloggers .
Today we watched Early encounters in Aotearoa. Here's what we learned. The first European explorer to arrive in Aotearoa was Abel Tasman. He arrived in 1642. He named the land Nova Zeelandia. The next explorer to arrive in Aotearoa is Captain James Cook. He arrived in 1769. The name of the chief navigator he hired was Tu Paia. The Europeans brought animals, diseases and potatoes. They got a gun called a musket which is a very old gun. The musket wars ended in the late 1830's. The ratio of Maori to Pakeha in Aotearoa in 1840 was 40 Maori to only 1 Pakeha.
I hope you enjoy it and you can comment on my blog. Thx. Abel Tasman

6 is the maximum teaspoons of sugar we should have daily. Eating an orange is healthier than drinking an orange juice because orange has less sugar and has fibre. 3 ways to avoid eating too much sugar is by looking at your product first, don't drink sugary drinks before a meal and don't buy fizzy drinks. 3 bad things that can happen to our body if we eat too much sugar is that we can get type 2 diabetes, heart failure and liver failure. I hope you like it and you can comment on my blog. Thx
